Prof. Dr. Dadang Sundawa, M.Pd. is a professor in the Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) Study Program at the Faculty of Social Sciences Education (FPIPS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), whose research interest focuses on the methodology of democracy learning. His academic work is dedicated to designing and refining innovative teaching approaches that effectively nurture democratic values, critical thinking, and participatory skills among students. By integrating contextual learning strategies and active pedagogies, he aims to create meaningful civic learning experiences that empower students to become informed, tolerant, and responsible democratic citizens. In addition to his extensive teaching and supervision roles, he actively engages in research projects, publishes scholarly works, and contributes to community service activities that promote the advancement of democratic education practices at various educational levels.
