Prof. Dr. Endang Danial AR., M.Pd., M.Si., is a senior professor in the Department of Civic Education (PPKn) at the Faculty of Social Science Education (FPIPS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). His research interest is focused on Economic Citizenship Education, a field that explores the intersection between economics, civic responsibility, and education. He is particularly concerned with how economic literacy, ethical decision-making, and financial responsibility contribute to the development of active, informed, and socially aware citizens in a democratic society. Prof. Endang emphasizes the importance of integrating economic understanding into civic education to help learners make responsible choices in both their personal lives and broader social contexts. His research investigates how citizens can critically engage with economic systems, understand their rights and obligations in economic matters, and participate constructively in national economic development. He also explores how economic education can address issues such as poverty, inequality, consumer behavior, and social justice.
