Prof. Dr. Rahmat, M.Si. is a professor in the Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) Study Program at the Faculty of Social Sciences Education (FPIPS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), with a primary research interest in Civic Education. His academic endeavors center on deepening the theoretical foundations and practical approaches of civic education to cultivate responsible, critical, and participatory citizens in a democratic society. He actively develops innovative civic learning models that integrate contextual social issues and foster students’ civic competence and character. Alongside his extensive teaching experience and student supervision, he consistently contributes to research, scholarly publications, and community service programs that strengthen the relevance and impact of civic education in responding to societal and global challenges.
