Rini Andari graduated in 2021 with a Doctorate in Management, specializing in tourism, from Universitas Udayana, Bali, Indonesia. Her dissertation was titled "A Study of Local Wisdom Values as an Attraction to Build Competitive Advantages for Sustainable Tourism." Her research focused on community-based tourism, tourism villages, community-based tourism marketing, destination management, and sustainable tourism. She believes that community involvement in tourism is essential for ensuring the sustainability of tourism development across environmental, socio-cultural, and economic dimensions, particularly in rural areas with tourism potential, including nature, culture, and local community life. She has served as a lecturer since 2008, with primary responsibilities in teaching, research, and community service. Dr. Andari is also frequently involved as a speaker in various destination management training programs. She is certified as a professional educator and by BNSP (National Professional Certification Agency).
