Bandung, 20 August 2025 — Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) carried out the inauguration of structural officials for the leadership period of the elected Rector. One of those inaugurated was Mr. Taufik Abdullah, Ph.D., who officially assumed the mandate as Head of the Tourism Marketing Management Study Program (MPP) for the period 2025-2030.

The inauguration which was led directly by UPI Rector Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, M.A, was also attended by all UPI officials. The alignment of the term of office of the Head of Study Program with the leadership period of the Rector is intended so that all lines of leadership can run in harmony, solid, and focused on achieving the vision and mission of the university.

On this occasion, Mr. Taufik Abdullah, Ph.D. expressed his commitment to fully support the targets, vision, and mission of the UPI Rector. According to him, this simultaneous inauguration is a momentum to strengthen collaboration between leaders and increase joint commitment to make UPI a pioneer and superior university.

Furthermore, he hopes for support from the entire MPP Study Program academic community. Forms of support in the form of energy, thoughts, time, and constructive criticism are considered very important for the progress of MPP Study Program in the future. "The trust given is a great mandate. I will try to maintain my integrity and bring MPP Study Program forward," he said.

 This inauguration is expected to strengthen the synergy of all leaders in realizing UPI's vision and developing MPP Study Program.
