
The Tourism Marketing Management (MPP) Study Program, conducted an Internal Quality Audit (IQA) as part of its continuous commitment to improving academic quality and program governance. The activity took place at the MPP Study Program in a constructive and collaborative atmosphere.
The audit team from UPI, consisting of Dr. Afianti Sulastri, M.Pd. and Dr. Kartika Yulianti, S.Pd., M.Si., carried out a comprehensive evaluation covering various aspects of academic and institutional management, including learning implementation, curriculum design, research and community service activities, as well as student affairs and administrative performance. This audit serves as an important effort to ensure that all academic and non-academic activities align with the university’s internal quality assurance standards.
During the audit process, the team commended the MPP Study Program for its consistency in integrating sustainability values into the curriculum and for strengthening collaboration among lecturers, students, and tourism industry partners. The audit also provided a valuable opportunity for reflection and innovation to further enhance the study program’s responsiveness to the evolving needs of the tourism sector.
The Head of the MPP Study Program, Taufik Abdullah, Ph.D,. expressed that the Internal Quality Audit is not merely an evaluation, but also a shared learning process. “We sincerely appreciate the feedback and recommendations provided by the auditors. These insights will guide us in continuously improving and strengthening the quality of education and governance within our program,” he stated.
This activity reaffirms the MPP Study Program’s commitment to SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), emphasizing the goal of delivering a high-quality, globally competitive, and sustainability-oriented tourism education.
