The Guiding Competition held by the Tourism and Culture Office (DISPARBUD) of West Bandung Regency on November 12, 2025, became a stage for participants to showcase their best abilities in tour guiding. One of the participants who successfully impressed the judges was Stellina Ratisah Azzahra, a Tourism Marketing Management student, who secured First Place in the competition.

In this event, participants were required to perform a simulation as a tour guide or local guide at various tourist destinations in the Bandung Barat area. Stellina chose Mount Tangkuban Perahu as her guiding material and delivered the entire narration in English. This ability became an added value that distinguished her from other participants.

Stellina also shared that joining the competition was a very memorable experience. “This activity is highly relevant to the study program I pursue, so it truly felt enjoyable,” she said. She also conveyed a message for herself and her peers to always maintain a positive mindset and put forth their best efforts. “Always being positive and do your best with pure heart, insyaallah the result we get will be the best one.”
This achievement stands as proof that perseverance, thorough preparation, and a willingness to keep learning can lead to success in the increasingly competitive world of tourism.
