BANDUNG, INDONESIA – In a significant step toward enhancing global competency standards, the Hospitality Industry Management (MIK) Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences Education (FPIPS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), has successfully facilitated international training and professional certification for its academic and educational staff.
The training and competency development program was held throughout October 2025. Selected lecturers and staff participated in specialized professional development courses, culminating in formal competency assessments.
Several MIK lecturers have successfully earned international professional designations issued by The American Academy of Project Management (AAPM), a globally recognized certification body. Simultaneously, the educational staff (Tendik) of the MIK program completed intensive training in Graphic Design, focusing on practical skills using modern tools.

- Candra Sari Triyana, SST.Par., M.M. – Certified as an International Academic Professional (CIAP).
- Graphic Design Training (Canva) – Successfully completed by Mr. Rukmansah.
This achievement underscores the MIK Study Program's and FPIPS UPI's steadfast commitment to continuous professional development and internationalization. By equipping its human resources with globally recognized certifications, the program aims to:
