HIMA MPP Quarterly Meeting: Strengthening Performance Evaluation and Sustainable Organizational Strategies

The Tourism Marketing Management Student Association (HIMA MPP) held its Quarterly Meeting on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, as part of the organization’s regular agenda. This event served as a strategic platform for reporting on performance and conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the implementation of work programs over the past three months. The quarterly meeting was organized as part of the association’s efforts to ensure the effective implementation of its work programs while strengthening coordination among divisions. This activity was driven by the importance of periodic monitoring and evaluation to maintain the sustainability and quality of the association’s performance.

In practice, each division, together with its Division Secretary, prepares a systematic, written quarterly report. The report is drafted by the Division Chair with the support of the Division Secretary and then submitted to the General Secretary by the specified deadline. The content of the report includes progress on work programs, a summary of meeting attendance, financial reports, evaluations, and recommendations for future improvements. The report is organized in a structured format, beginning with the cover page, introduction, division progress report, attendance summary, financial report, evaluation, recommendations, conclusion, and appendices consisting of activity documentation and meeting minutes.

This event was attended by the entire core leadership of HIMA MPP, including the Association’s Chair and Vice Chair, General Secretary, General Treasurer, all Division Chairs, and the Board of Commissioners, which serves as the supervisory and evaluation body. During the event, each division presented its achievements and the challenges it faced, while also receiving constructive feedback from the Board of Commissioners and other members of the leadership. Overall, the quarterly meeting proceeded smoothly and provided a comprehensive overview of the organization’s performance over the past quarter. This event served not only as a platform for evaluation but also as a foundation for formulating the organization’s future strategic steps to ensure it remains adaptive and progressive.

The HIMA MPP Quarterly Meeting aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, which emphasizes the importance of transparent, accountable, and effective organizational governance. In addition, this event also supports SDG Goal 4: Quality Education by strengthening students’ capacity in organizational management and evaluation-based decision-making.
