Bandung, February 25, 2025 - The Civic Education Study Program (PKn) of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia received an audience visit from the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) team in the context of Data Collection and Information Study on the Implementation of Pancasila Education as a Compulsory Curriculum Course (MKWK) in Higher Education, as well as Review of the Main Textbook Material for Pancasila Education.
The hearing was held on the campus of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Jalan Dr. Setiabudhi No. 229 Bandung, and took place since 10:00 WIB. This activity is part of BPIP's efforts to synchronize and coordinate with various universities, to ensure the implementation of Pancasila Education runs in accordance with the direction of national policy and strengthening of the nation's ideological values.
In this meeting, the team from UPI Civics Education Study Program consisting of lecturers and study program managers conveyed various inputs, implementative experiences, and challenges faced in organizing Pancasila Education courses. The discussion also addressed the quality and relevance of the main textbooks used in lectures, as input for improvement and refinement at the national level.
This visit is a clear proof of collaboration between government agencies and higher education institutions in maintaining the sustainability and quality of Pancasila Education in the midst of the dynamics of the times. UPI Civic Education Study Program welcomes this collaboration and is ready to continue to actively contribute in grounding the values of Pancasila in the campus environment and the wider community.
