UPI Serang Campus Holds Civic Forum on Pancasila and National Insight for Prospective Graduates

Serang, March 13, 2025 – Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) Campus Serang held a civic education forum titled "Strengthening Pancasila Ideology and National Insight" for prospective undergraduate students. The event is part of the campus's commitment to preparing graduates with strong civic awareness and a firm understanding of national values.

This session was attended by students from the PGSD (Primary School Teacher Education) Study Program, who actively engaged in discussions related to Pancasila as the state ideology, national identity, and the challenges of civic life in Indonesia.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Syaifullah, M.Si, currently the Head of the Civic Education Program for the Integrated Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Levels at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, presented essential insights into how Pancasila continues to serve as a guiding principle in the midst of social transformation and globalization. He emphasized the importance of nurturing civic competence, ethical behavior, and national responsibility in higher education.

Through this activity, UPI Serang Campus seeks to instill civic-mindedness and national pride among students, especially those who will soon graduate and enter professional and social life.

The event received positive feedback from both students and faculty, and serves as a model of how ideological and civic reinforcement can be integrated into campus-wide academic development.
