On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the Tourism Marketing Management Student Association (HIMA MPP) successfully held a fun bonding event titled “Berirama: Joyful Bonding with HIMA.”
Held at Villa Rasty in Arcamanik, Bandung, this event brought all HIMA MPP members together to strengthen friendships, build unity, and foster a spirit of teamwork in running the organization’s programs.

Fun Games to Boost Team Spirit
The event kicked off with a game called “Word Chain Guessing,” where participants were divided into six teams of five people. Each team had to guess a word based on clues from the MC by saying one letter at a time until the full word was formed. This game challenged their thinking speed while improving communication and coordination.

Next came the “Straw in the Bottle” challenge, where teams had to place straws into bottles using only their hands—without crossing a set boundary. The game was played in two sessions, with three teams in each. It required strategic planning and strong teamwork to succeed.

The excitement continued with the “Cup Relay with Balloons” challenge. In this game, team members had to pass cups to the back using only air-filled balloons—without touching the cup or balloon with their hands. After successfully passing the cup, each member ran to the back of the line until the team reached the finish line. It was one of the most fun and energetic moments, demanding coordination, balance, and teamwork.

Finally, the participants played Dodgeball, where they were split into two teams. This game required speed, agility, and strategy to throw and dodge the ball. Players hit by the ball were eliminated, so teamwork was key to staying in the game until the end. This was a moment of healthy competition filled with energy and unity.

The Meaning and Hopes Behind Berirama 2024
This bonding event wasn’t just about fun—it also taught valuable lessons about solidarity and togetherness in an organization. M. Adkha Alhazzany, the event coordinator from MPP 2022, shared his hopes for more events like this in the future.

“This bonding event gave us important lessons about solidarity in an organization. The challenges we faced during this event helped strengthen our teamwork. I hope activities like this continue and bring us even closer as members of HIMA MPP.”

As the first official event organized by the Creative Development Center (CDC) division, Berirama 2024 also became a meaningful milestone for the team behind the scenes. Radita Tullia Andani, Head of the CDC division from MPP 2022, expressed her gratitude for the success of the event, despite some challenges during preparation.

“Even though we faced some difficulties in organizing the event, alhamdulillah everything went well. It was all thanks to the teamwork of CDC members and support from other divisions. I’m really grateful to have such a solid, proactive, and supportive team. Hopefully, this will motivate us to keep growing and create even more creative events in the future.”
