Bandung, July 3, 2025 – A proud moment has come from the Civic Education Study Program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). One of its esteemed lecturers, Dr. Rika Sartika, has officially earned her Doctoral degree after successfully passing her doctoral promotion examination on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, held at the Auditorium, 5th Floor, UPI Graduate School.

Her dissertation, titled 'Development of an Inquiry-Based Learning Model with Flipped Classroom Approach for Strengthening the Character of Responsibility,' presents an innovative approach to character education in the digital era. By integrating flipped classroom strategies and inquiry-based learning, her research offers valuable contributions to the reinforcement of students' responsibility character, especially in formal education settings.

Dr. Rika Sartika’s doctoral promotion was supervised by Prof. Dr. H. Bunyamin, M.Pd., M.A. as the main promoter, with Prof. Dr. H. Encep Syarief Nurdin, S.H., Drs., M.Pd., M.Si. as the co-promoter. The examination committee also included Prof. Dr. H. Dasim Budimanayah, M.Si. (member), Dr. Wioladati, M.Si. (internal examiner), and Prof. Dr. Mukhammad Murdiono, S.Pd., M.Pd. from Yogyakarta State University as the external examiner.
