On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, the Human Resources Development (HRD) Division of HIMA MPP UPI successfully held MOKAJUR MPP 2026 as part of the welcome program for new students in the Tourism Marketing Management program. With the theme “GENESIS: Growing Leaders Through Integrity and Synergy with MPP,” this event served as the first step for new students to familiarize themselves with the academic environment while becoming part of the larger MPP family.

The series of activities began with the pickup and transportation of new students from the Gymnasium to FPIPS, followed by the opening ceremony and welcoming remarks from HIMA MPP officials and the Executive Chairperson. New students also received an introduction to the MPP Program through a profile video and presentations by faculty members covering the program, coursework, curriculum, and MBKM.

In addition to focusing on academic orientation, MOKAJUR MPP 2026 featured various interactive activities such as Creative Selling, Action Challenge, the MPP Quiz, and writing wishes on the Tree of Wishes. These activities provided a space for new students to get to know one another, build connections, and create a more enjoyable initial experience within the MPP community.

Through the GENESIS theme, new students are encouraged to begin cultivating the values of integrity, cooperation, communication, and camaraderie as part of their journey at MPP. This event also serves as an opportunity for students to become more familiar with the academic environment and build relationships with their fellow students.

Chalisa Kirana, the Executive Chairperson, stated that the 2026 MPP MOKAJUR was a meaningful experience that provided many lessons ranging from teamwork and communication to taking responsibility for overcoming various challenges during the event. She hopes that GENESIS will serve as a strong start for the 2026 MPP students as they embark on their academic journey and create many valuable experiences.

With the conclusion of MOKAJUR MPP 2026, new students are expected to begin their academic journey with renewed enthusiasm and gain a deeper understanding of the MPP UPI environment and community.

This event also supports SDG 4: Quality Education by introducing new students to the campus environment and academic processes, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through the formation of positive relationships and collaboration among students within the MPP community
