Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia successfully held its Graduation Session 3 from October 28–31, 2024, with the Tourism Marketing Management Study Program graduating 47 students on October 29. This year, the graduation theme was "Appreciation of Achievement S.Par," celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of the graduates in completing their studies.
The event began with a procession of graduates from the UPI Gymnasium, leading them to the University Center (UC) building. The atmosphere was lively and filled with excitement as the graduates arrived at the back of the UC building, accompanied by chanting from active MPP students. This chant was not just a song but a symbol of solidarity and pride for the graduates, who had completed a long academic journey. Before the main ceremony, the CEO of HIMA MPP delivered an inspiring speech, igniting the spirit and paying tribute to the graduates. A graduate representative, Kang Akmal, also shared a speech from a graduate's perspective, recounting their journey in the MPP program and expressing hopes for the future.
As part of the "Appreciation of Achievement S.Par" theme, the event also served as an appreciation for the graduates. The first speech was delivered by a program representative, Mrs. Olin, who expressed pride and hopes for the graduates' futures. The Vice CEO of HIMA MPP and the event organizer, Adzra Nurthahira, also gave motivational speeches, acknowledging the achievements of the graduates and the contributions of the organizing committee. A special award was presented to Teh Nur Haniifah as the Best Graduate, who expressed her emotions and pride during her speech. "This is my first time experiencing such a grand graduation. Before, I only saw seniors graduating, but now that I am the one graduating, the vibes are completely different. The solidarity in MPP is very strong. I want to congratulate my friends who have graduated. To those still fighting, keep pursuing your dreams, and I hope you can graduate with the best results!" – Nur Haniifah, Best Graduate of Session III 2024.
One of the most memorable sessions was "Journey to S.Par," presented by Teh Tabitha, Teh Athifah, and Kang Akmal. They shared their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned during their studies in MPP. This moment reflected their academic journey and served as an inspiration for current students. To strengthen the impact of their journey, a memory board titled "Journey to S.Par" was displayed, showcasing the struggles and achievements of the graduates during their time at FPIPS.
The success of this event was undoubtedly the result of the hard work of the entire committee. Adzra Nurthahira, the Event Organizer of Graduation Session III 2024, expressed her gratitude for the smooth execution of the event and appreciation for everyone involved.
