Bandung, 9 November 2024 - In order to welcome and commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) Study Program FPIPS Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, a Tasyakur Bin Ni'mah event was held with the theme “PKn Bersatu, PKn Maju”. This activity was carried out online through the Zoom Meeting platform and broadcast live on the official @pkn_upi YouTube channel.
The Tasyakur event took place from 19.30 WIB until completion, and was attended by lecturers, students, and alumni of PKn Study Program from various generations. In a solemn and family atmosphere, the participants attended virtually by wearing Muslim clothing as a form of modesty and solemnity of the event.
The main tausiah in this activity was delivered by Col (Sus) TNI. Dr. H.M. Kemalsyah, M.Ag., a permanent lecturer at the Defense University in the Air Defense Strategy Study Program. He delivered reflective messages about the importance of being grateful for the journey of Civics Study Program for seven decades, while strengthening national values, moral resilience, and solidarity among members of the academic community.
Through this activity, UPI Civics Study Program invites the entire extended family to reflect on the role and contribution in civic education which is not only oriented towards knowledge, but also on character building and ideological resilience of the nation.
This spirit of gratitude and togetherness is the beginning of a series of activities for the 70th Anniversary of Civics Study Program, and is expected to strengthen the bonds of all elements in building a more advanced, solid, and impactful Study Program.
