Synergy Between Event Management Students 2024 and Gudangkahuripan Village in Preparing for the 47th Milangkala

Students of the 2024 Event Management course held a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) with the officials of Gudangkahuripan Village to finalize preparations for the 47th Milangkala celebration. This activity represents an integration between course practicum and community service programs.

The meeting aimed to synchronize the students’ creative concepts with the aspirations of the local community. The students actively contributed to designing event management flows, logistics, and publication strategies to ensure the village anniversary runs more professionally. The main focus of this coordination includes empowering local MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) and preserving cultural arts within the event series.

The village authorities warmly welcomed this initiative and expressed hope that this academic synergy would enhance the quality of their annual celebration, making it more iconic. Beyond fulfilling academic requirements, this collaboration is expected to strengthen social ties and stimulate the community’s creative economy.

With thorough preparation, the 47th Milangkala is projected to be more than just a ceremonial event, but rather a momentum for the village’s revival towards independence and competitiveness. This spirit of collaboration stands as clear evidence of students’ contributions in supporting development based on local wisdom.
