Bandung, November 8, 2025 – The Communication Studies Study Programme is celebrating yet another international success as its student, Bunga Aisyah Wiarto, secured First Place at the prestigious International Students Got Talent 2025. The event was organized by Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education in collaboration with Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS).
The highly competitive event saw 22 international students from various Malaysian universities showcasing a spectrum of talents and cultural backgrounds. Bunga distinguished herself not only through artistic flair but through profound messaging. Her winning performance a blend of singing and dancing featured a Bruno Mars song creatively rearranged and choreographed by Bunga herself, infused with elements of Indonesian culture.

Critically, Bunga’s performance carried a powerful global humanitarian message, incorporating symbols of support for Palestine, Sudan, and Congo. This elevated her presentation beyond mere entertainment, giving it depth and social significance. This demonstration of global citizenship and advocacy directly contributes to the spirit of Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions and the goal of fostering inclusive societies.
"For me, art is a way to convey messages that transcend language and national boundaries," Bunga stated. "I wanted this performance not only to reflect my identity as an Indonesian but also to show concern for global issues that are vital for humanity."
Bunga’s journey to the top was marked by resilience. She faced challenging health conditions during the preliminary rounds but pushed through to deliver a maximum effort, ultimately securing her spot in the final and claiming the highest position. "This experience taught me that resilience and self-confidence can carry us through difficult times," she added.
This victory is not just a personal highlight but a powerful motivation for other students to continually develop their potential. "This achievement is not just mine alone," Bunga concluded, "but for everyone who believes that hard work and gratitude can unlock boundless opportunities."
