Suka Prayanta, a lecturer in Tourism Marketing Management, is set to embark on his doctoral journey at Virginia Tech, United States. He has been officially admitted to the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, a prestigious program recognized globally for its strong academic and research contributions in the field of tourism and hospitality. In an interview, Suka expressed that pursuing a Ph.D. abroad is not only a personal milestone but also a valuable opportunity to broaden academic perspectives and establish international collaborations. He believes that the knowledge and experiences gained during his studies in the United States will be essential in supporting research development, strengthening academic quality, and promoting sustainable tourism practices in Indonesia.

He further emphasized the importance of continuous self-development for young lecturers to remain competitive and relevant in both academic and professional contexts.
