Strengthening Solidarity Through “Rumah Ceria” — Visit to Azka Orphanage

On September 27, 2025, students of Tourism Marketing Management carried out the “Rumah Ceria” program at Panti Yatim dan Dhuafa Azka, located on Jl. Makam Caringin No.67, Margahayu Utara, Babakan Ciparay District, Bandung. This initiative aimed to foster solidarity between university students and the wider community, particularly the children of the orphanage.

The Azka orphanage currently nurtures 40 children, each guided to grow as individuals with strong faith in God Almighty. The event began with a welcoming session, followed by artistic performances from the children, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere.

A key part of the program was an educational session under the theme “Building Dreams Through Creativity,” where inspiring discussions encouraged the pursuit of knowledge and the importance of imagination in shaping the future. The program then continued with a creative workshop, where the children expressed their individuality through painting on canvas tote bags. This activity not only stimulated artistic expression but also enhanced confidence and collaboration among participants.

Through “Rumah Ceria,” students and the children of Azka orphanage shared meaningful interactions, highlighting the importance of community engagement, compassion, and collective inspiration in building a brighter future.
