
Bandung, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia — The Student Association of Tourism Marketing Management (HIMA MPP) successfully conducted the Basic Student Leadership Training (LDKM) on 13 and 15 November 2025. This program serves as an introductory developmental initiative designed to instill fundamental values of leadership, organizational skills, and national insight in the Tourism Marketing Management Freshmen of the 2025 Batch.
The first day of the LDKM took place on the 2nd Floor of the PKM Building, beginning with an opening by the Master of Ceremony, the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya, and remarks from the Event Chairperson and the CEO of HIMA MPP. The agenda continued with a preparatory session for the plenary meeting, during which the 2025 freshmen received guidance on the procedures and participated in a simulated session led by the temporary presidium. The program then proceeded to Plenary Session I, which focused on the Discussion and Ratification of the Session Rules as well as the Appointment of the Permanent Presidium from the 2025 freshmen.
The second day of LDKM was held in the Auditorium, 4th Floor of the FPBS Building. The activities began with Plenary Session I, chaired by the Permanent Presidium from the 2025 batch. By midday, the event continued with Plenary Session II, which discussed the Duties and Authorities of the Prospective Batch Leader of 2025. The next agenda was the Election of the Prospective Batch Leader, with candidates nominated by each faction along with additional recommendations from HIMA MPP. This process also finalized the Appointment of the Batch Leader Candidates for 2025.
This series of activities for two days is expected to be a strong foundation, especially for the New Students Batch 2025 to broaden their horizons, build leadership readiness, and foster a sense of responsibility in playing an active role in the campus environment.
