The MPP Study Program organized an On the Job Training (OJT) Seminar as a platform for experience sharing between seventh-semester students and fifth-semester students of the MPP Class of 2023. The seminar aimed to provide a clear and realistic overview of OJT implementation and the professional environment that students will encounter in the future.

The seminar featured seventh-semester students who had completed their OJT programs at various institutions. The speakers shared first-hand experiences from their OJT placements in several sectors, including government institutions, tourism destinations, hotels, and other tourism-related industries. Through these presentations, participants gained insights into the application process, work systems, task assignments, and challenges faced during the OJT period.

In addition to technical aspects, the speakers emphasized the importance of professionalism, communication skills, and adaptability in the workplace. Fifth-semester students were encouraged to prepare themselves early, both academically and in terms of soft skills, to ensure optimal performance during their OJT.

The seminar was marked by high enthusiasm, reflected in interactive discussion and question-and-answer sessions. Participants raised various questions regarding the selection of institutions, workplace culture adjustment, and career development opportunities after completing OJT.

Through this OJT Seminar, it is expected that MPP students of the Class of 2023 will gain a clearer understanding of OJT and feel more motivated and confident in preparing themselves for the professional world.
