BANDUNG - The Communication Studies Study Programme proudly celebrates a significant academic milestone. Dr. Nuri Novianti Afidah, S.S., M.Hum., MCE, a distinguished lecturer within the program, was officially conferred her doctoral degree during the UPI graduation ceremony on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. The prestigious event took place at the Gymnasium Building, UPI Bumi Siliwangi Campus, Bandung.

Dr. Nuri successfully earned her Doctorate in General and Character Education (Pendidikan Umum dan Karakter). Her doctoral research culminated in a dissertation titled "Pembinaan Komunikasi Berbahasa melalui Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia dalam Penguatan Karakter Mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi" (Nurturing Language Communication through Indonesian Language Courses for Strengthening Student Character in Higher Education).
