To bridge academic learning with real-world practice, sixth-semester students of the Catering Industry Management (MIK) program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia are currently undertaking the Non-Educational Professional Experience Strengthening Program (P3NK). This initiative allows students to earn 20 academic credits through direct learning in the industry.

PT Sagala Group is one of the program’s key industry partners, opening its doors for students to gain hands-on experience. On May 27, 2025, a monitoring visit was conducted by MIK lecturer Candra Sari Triyana, SST.Par., M.M. The session served as a platform for discussion between the academic program and industry representatives.

Rhesa Ardiansyah, from PT Sagala Group’s Human Resources Division, shared that seven MIK students have been placed across various departments based on their interests and specialization. These include the People Department, Marketing Communication, Finance, Revenue, and Platform Management.

It is hoped that the six-month internship experience will enrich the students' applied knowledge and skills, and inspire them to succeed in the dynamic world of the catering industry.
