Yogyakarta, August 1st, 2024 – Ana Sopanah, a student from the Civic Education (PPKn) Study Program, Class of 2023, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), proudly represented UPI and achieved remarkable success at the National Student Cooperative Jamboree (JAMKOPNAS) 2024, held at Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta, from July 30th to August 1st, 2024.

As part of the Bumi Siliwangi Student Cooperative (KOPMA BS) delegation, Ana earned three prestigious titles during the national event:
- 2nd Overall Winner of JAMKOPNAS 2024
- 3rd Place in the Anggah Debate Competition
- Putra JAMKOPNAS 2024 (Best Male Delegate)

The Anggah Debate Competition is a national-level debate contest that tests students' critical thinking, argumentative skills, and analytical abilities on contemporary cooperative issues. Ana, along with her teammates Lutfi Amalia (Economics Education 2021) and Fathin Mufid Akram (Economics Education 2023), showcased outstanding performance amid strong competition from student cooperatives across the country.

JAMKOPNAS 2024, organized by the Indonesian Student Cooperative Communication Forum (FKKMI), carried the theme “Reinforcing Cooperatives Youth Relations Through Cross-Culture & Environmental Conservation.” The event provided a platform for student cooperatives nationwide to strengthen networks and enhance leadership and cooperative competencies through competitions such as debates, quizzes, essay writing, video content creation, and the selection of JAMKOPNAS ambassadors.

“We are truly grateful for this achievement. Every step of the journey brought us valuable lessons and deep meaning,” Ana expressed in her statement following the event.

This outstanding achievement demonstrates that PPKn UPI students excel not only academically but also actively contribute to national-scale leadership and intellectual competitions. The department and university community hope this success inspires other students to strive for excellence and bring UPI’s name to greater national and international platforms.
