Bandung, April 29, 2025 – The Civic Education Study Program of FPIPS UPI held an Open Doctoral Promotion Examination for doctoral candidate Agil Nanggala, M.Pd., with a dissertation titled:

"Social Construction of the Fulfillment of Political Rights and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for Civic Equality: A Civic Education Perspective."

The event took place at the Auditorium LT6 FPIPS UPI and was attended by academic faculty, students, and invited guests. This dissertation explores the intersection of citizenship education, political rights, and disability empowerment, offering a critical framework for inclusive civic participation in Indonesia.

Agil Nanggala presented his research findings with clarity and strong academic grounding, emphasizing the importance of inclusive education and civic equality for marginalized communities.
