Handover Ceremony of the Tourism Marketing Management Student Association: Continuing the Organization’s Struggle and Supporting Sustainable Development

The Tourism Marketing Management Student Association (HIMA) held a leadership handover ceremony as a form of transition in management and the beginning of a new journey for the organization. This activity became an important moment to appreciate the dedication and hard work of the previous management who had contributed various ideas, programs, and initiatives for the development of the organization.

In an atmosphere filled with togetherness, the former management expressed their gratitude for the support of all members during their period of service. The various programs and activities that had been carried out became part of the organization’s journey that will continue to be carried forward by the new management.

The new management is expected to carry out their responsibilities with full commitment, bring fresh enthusiasm, and continue the organization’s mission with renewed energy and innovation. This handover ceremony is not merely a change of positions, but also a symbol of the continuity of vision, collaboration, and shared commitment to advancing the organization.

This handover activity is also aligned with the values of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Through student organizations, students can develop leadership skills, teamwork, and learning experiences outside the classroom that support the improvement of educational quality. In addition, collaboration among members and the management reflects the spirit of partnership in achieving shared goals.

With the spirit of togetherness and sustainability, the Tourism Marketing Management Student Association is expected to continue growing into an active and innovative organization that can provide positive contributions to students, the institution, and the wider community.
