
Bandung, December 13, 2025 — The Student Association of Tourism Marketing Management (HIMA MPP), through its Creative Development Center (CDC) Division, proudly presents Moeda Nyoenda Vol. II, a pasanggiri jaipong competition aimed at preserving and promoting Sundanese traditional dance. This event is a continuation of Moeda Nyoenda, which has been held over the past two years by students as part of the Event Management course, and is now officially developed as a flagship program under HIMA MPP.
Carrying the theme “Galura Wirahma,” Moeda Nyoenda Vol. II highlights the harmony of movement and rhythm that defines jaipong dance. The competition features three categories: Solo Category, Youth Category, and Group (Rampak) Category, and is open to participants from across West Java. The event received full support from the Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Jawa Barat, reflecting strong collaboration between students and regional cultural stakeholders.
Moeda Nyoenda Vol. II was held at the Sri Baduga Museum and brought together a total of 72 participants from all competition categories. In addition to serving as a platform for artistic expression and cultural appreciation, the event offered a total prize pool worth millions of rupiah as recognition for participants’ creativity and performance.
Through Moeda Nyoenda Vol. II, HIMA MPP demonstrates its commitment to integrating student creativity, professional event management, and the preservation of local culture as part of sustainable cultural tourism development.
