Bandung, September 24, 2025 – The Tourism Marketing Management Study Program today held an information session on the On-the-Job Training (OJT) program for students in the 2023 semester. This internship program is not just a regular internship, but an important opportunity to convert up to 20 credits, making it a mandatory component of the curriculum.
The OJT is designed to be an intensive 5- to 6-month program, providing in-depth real-world work experience in the industry. Mr. Rijal Khaerani, the Student Affairs Lecturer, emphasized that all participants must choose an institution or company in the relevant tourism sector.
In addition, the presentation also covered the OJT timeline, starting from the preparation stage, registration, location determination, to the reporting process. Students were also provided with information about the documents that needed to be prepared, such as cover letters, placement proposals, and final reports.
Through this activity, it is hoped that the class of 2023 students will better understand the procedures and preparations for OJT, enabling them to develop professional competencies and be ready to face challenges in the tourism industry.
