In running an organization, success is determined not only by the implementation of work programs, but also by the attitudes and ethics demonstrated by each member in carrying out their responsibilities. Ethics, communication, a sense of belonging, and responsibility are essential components in building solid cooperation and creating a professional organizational environment.
In an effort to reinforce these values, the Human Resource Development (HRD) Division of HIMA MPP UPI held In-House Training (IHT) Vol. 2 on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the PKM Geugeut Winda UPI Building, 2nd floor. Under the theme “Step-Up: Shape Your Ethics, Communication, Urgency & Responsibility,” this event served as an internal learning space for HIMA MPP executives to enhance their awareness, professionalism, and work quality within the organization.
The event began with a presentation by Kang Ilham Faruqi, who discussed ethics, communication, and responsibility in organizational life. The presentation was followed by an interactive discussion and Q&A session, allowing participants to understand the material and relate it to the dynamics they face while carrying out their duties at HIMA MPP.
Following the presentation session, participants took part in Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) held separately by division. There were seven designated activity areas used as discussion spaces for each division. During this session, participants discussed the application of the values learned from the IHT into their divisions’ workflows, then creatively summarized the discussion outcomes using mind maps.
The series of activities continued with mind map presentations by representatives from each division. Through this session, each division had the opportunity to share their thoughts and discussions regarding the application of ethics, communication, urgency, and responsibility in carrying out organizational tasks. The event then concluded with the announcement of the winning group as a form of recognition, followed by closing remarks and a group photo.
Nadia Azzahra, as the Executive Chair of IHT Vol. 2, stated that this event was a highly educational experience, particularly regarding communication, responsibility, and collaboration. The participants’ enthusiasm throughout the event also left a lasting impression on the organizing committee. She hopes that IHT Vol. 2 can provide new and valuable insights for all executive members and become an integral part of HIMA MPP’s future journey.
Through the implementation of IHT Vol. 2, HIMA MPP UPI seeks to develop an executive board that is not only capable of carrying out its duties but also possesses an awareness of ethics, responsibility, communication, and a sense of belonging to the organization. It is hoped that these values can be applied in every work process so that collaboration among members and across divisions can become increasingly effective.
This initiative also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education through the enhancement of learning and capacity building for members, as well as SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through efforts to build responsible, ethical, and collaborative organizational governance
