The Tourism Marketing Management Student Association (HIMA MPP) of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia once again successfully held the Student Training Development (STD) UMAMI Final Chapter 2024. This four-day event took place from December 5 to 8, 2024, at the FPIPS Auditorium and Villa Datuk Manglayang, Cileunyi. Aimed at training the 2024 freshmen in critical thinking, argumentation, and leadership development, this activity was an essential part of the student development program at MPP UPI.

The first day began with a briefing for the committee and freshmen before the event was officially opened by the MC. Kang Fahri Ubaydilla, as the Event Chairperson, and Kang Raihan Alfarisy, CEO of HIMA MPP, delivered opening speeches emphasizing the importance of this training in shaping students' character and leadership skills. The first session featured a Learning Class by Ibu Masroulina, covering sexual harassment awareness. The discussion was highly interactive, with many students actively asking questions and sharing their thoughts. The first day ended with a reflection session and rest.

On the second day, students attended an "Etiquette Class" presented by Teh Citra Dwi Rachman (MIK Ambassador 2022 and Runner-Up 1 PPBS 2024). This session provided insights into professional etiquette and how to build a strong personal image in academic and professional settings. The next session focused on "Leadership", led by Kang Dzulfalah (Vice President of BEM REMA UPI 2024 and a History major from 2021). Participants learned about effective leadership, decision-making strategies, and challenges in leading an organization. Both sessions were well-received, sparking engaging discussions.

After lunch, participants prepared for the mobilization to Villa Datuk Manglayang, traveling in TNI military trucks, which added a unique and memorable experience. Upon arrival, they underwent a baggage check, tent allocation, and preparation for the “post-to-post” challenge. In this activity, students had to solve clues and complete missions at each checkpoint, helping them develop strategic thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.

The third day marked a crucial moment—the election of the 2024 Class President. Each candidate presented their vision, mission, and programs, followed by case studies, debates, and Q&A sessions with fellow students, the committee, and MPP lecturers. After an intense election process, Reza Andika Putra was officially elected as the 2024 Class President. The inauguration was led by Mr. Rijal, representing the MPP faculty. Reza expressed his gratitude and commitment, saying:
"Being elected as Class President is a valuable experience. I realize this role requires dedication, teamwork, and strong communication with my peers. I hope to fulfill my responsibilities well, strengthen our class unity, and build good relationships with seniors, juniors, and lecturers in the future."

Following the election, the day ended with a reflection and evaluation session.

The final day started with a morning workout and breakfast, followed by exciting water games as a way to celebrate the freshmen’s successful completion of the program. This fun activity strengthened the bonds among students, marking the conclusion of STD UMAMI Final Chapter 2024.

The event’s success was due to the hard work of the committee and the enthusiasm of all participants. Muhammad Fahri Ubaydilla, Event Chairperson of STD 2024, expressed his appreciation:
"Although exhausting, this event was an incredibly valuable experience for all of us. Hopefully, future events will be even more exciting and memorable, further strengthening the unity of MPP students."

STD UMAMI Final Chapter 2024 was not just a student development program; it was a transformative experience that shaped character, leadership, and unity.
