

Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) held an online lecture for students of Naresuan University, Thailand, on the topic of “Sustainable Tourism and Cultural Innovation.” The event took place on Friday, October 31, 2025, with the aim of strengthening international cooperation and increasing students' understanding of sustainable tourism.
The two main speakers at this event were Aan Khosilan, S.Pd., M.Sos., and Suka Prayanta Pandia, S.Pd., M.PFis. They presented material discussing the importance of regenerative tourism development from the perspective of indigenous peoples and the role of cultural innovation in supporting sustainable tourism.
Through these presentations, participants were encouraged to understand how to maintain a balance between preserving cultural heritage and developing environmentally friendly tourism. The event also served as a platform for cross-border knowledge exchange, enriching students' insights into innovations in the sustainable and culture-based tourism sector.
This activity is part of a collaborative summer program between UPI and Naresuan University that supports international academic and cultural development.
