The event was attended by faculty and students from four tourism study programs: Tourism Marketing Management, Resort and Leisure Management, Catering Industry Management, and Tourism Education. The event was lively and warm, serving as a platform to strengthen bonds and enhance synergy among the study programs within UPI’s larger tourism family.
Also present at the event were the First Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FPIPS UPI, Fitri Rahmafitria, and the Third Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Partnerships of FPIPS UPI, Bagja Waluya. The presence of faculty leadership demonstrated support for the development of tourism study programs, which continue to strive to improve the quality of education, research, community service, and collaboration with various partners.
Under the theme “One Synergy, Endless Journey,” this year’s anniversary serves as a reminder that the long journey of tourism development cannot be undertaken individually, but rather through strong collaboration among the academic community. It is hoped that this spirit of togetherness will serve as a foundation for addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the tourism industry in the future.
This Anniversary celebration also serves as an opportunity to reflect on the various achievements made and as an inspiration to continue working, innovating, and making tangible contributions to the advancement of education and the tourism industry, both nationally and globally
