Bandung, September 20, 2025 – The Civics Law Student Association (HMCH) of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) held the Opening of Tahsin Al-Qur’an, conducted online via Zoom Meeting. This event marked the beginning of a spiritual development program for students, particularly aimed at improving their ability to read the Qur’an in accordance with tajweed rules.

The opening session featured Prof. Dr. Udin Supriadi, M.Pd., who delivered a lecture on the virtues of reading the Qur’an, the importance of tajweed, and the mastery of makhārij al-hurūf as the foundation of proper recitation. His presentation provided not only technical insights but also spiritual encouragement, inspiring participants to deepen both their knowledge and practice in Qur’anic reading.

Through this program, HMCH UPI aspires to encourage students to continuously strengthen their faith and piety toward God Almighty and to make the Qur’an a guiding principle in their daily lives. Additionally, the Tahsin program is expected to broaden participants’ understanding, foster religious character, and bring students closer to the spiritual values embedded in the Qur’an.
