Description
Indonesia sebagai daerah rawan bencana membutuhkan kajian yang komprehensif tentang dinamika alam dan manusia, yang menimbulkan berbagai bencana. Eksploitasi sumber daya untuk menyuplai kebutuhan dan pembangunan seringkali menimbulkan kerusakan lingkungan dan bencana. Geografi melalui teknologi penginderaan jauh dan SIG memberikan solusi terhadap pemanfaatan lingkungan secara bertanggungjawab untuk mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan dan ketahanan terhadap bencana.
Objective
Memberikan kajian secara komprehensif tentang mitigasi bencana, ketahanan bencana, dan pemanfaatan lingkungan secara bertanggungjawab untuk mewujudkan keberlanjutan lingkungan, termasuk pariwisata berkelanjutan dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Description
The Geospatial Research and SDGs Collaboration Center focuses on advancing geospatial research to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). GeoSCo integrates GIS, spatial analysis, sustainability analytics, and collaborative geospatial science to support evidence-based planning and policy development across multiple regions and sectors.
GeoSCo berperan sebagai jembatan kolaborasi riset antara akademisi, lembaga pemerintah, dan mitra internasional dalam menghasilkan inovasi berbasis bukti spasial.
Objectives & Impact
- Menghasilkan riset unggulan geospasial yang mendukung pencapaian SDGs.
- Membangun jejaring riset internasional di bidang Geospatial and Sustainability.
- Mengembangkan platform berbagi data spasial dan hasil riset SDGs.

Description
This research group focuses on the management of natural resources and the environment, particularly water resources, land resources, coastal and marine areas, and remote regions through watershed and river basin approaches.
Mapping technology, remote sensing, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are utilized for inventory, mapping, modeling, regional development implementation, and educational material development.
Objectives
