Sarah Fadilah Zein Receives Journal Management Incentive for Her Role in Civicus Journal

Bandung – The Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has awarded incentives to journal management teams as part of its commitment to enhancing the quality of academic publications. Among the recipients of the “Incentive Award for Indexed Journal Managers 2025” is Sarah Fadilah Zein, who serves as a journal administrative staff member for Civicus Journal, an academic publication managed by the Department of Civic Education (PPKn), Faculty of Social Science Education (FPIPS), UPI.

The incentive award ceremony was held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the PPG Auditorium, 6th Floor, and was attended by university leadership, journal managers, and representatives from various academic units. The event reflects UPI’s institutional support for strengthening the governance of nationally indexed journals.

Civicus Journal, indexed in SINTA 3, focuses on scholarly discourse in the fields of civic education, democracy, and socio-political issues in Indonesia. This achievement is a result of the collaborative efforts of the editorial team, which includes Nisrina Nurul Insani, Pitria Sopianingsih, Sarah Fadilah Zein, and Akhmad Fauzi.

The Department of Civic Education, FPIPS UPI, extends its highest appreciation to the Civicus Journal management team, especially to Ms. Sarah Fadilah Zein, for her dedication and professionalism in supporting the journal’s administrative and editorial functions. This recognition is expected to further motivate the team in developing a high-quality, reputable journal that contributes significantly to the field of civic education and social sciences, both nationally and internationally.
