PPKn UPI Organizes Technical Guidance on Self-Evaluation Report (LED) to Strengthen Quality Culture

Bandung, July 15, 2025 - The Civic Education Study Program (PPKn) at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) held a Technical Guidance Workshop on the Preparation of the Self-Evaluation Report (LED) as part of its continuous efforts to enhance internal quality culture and improve accreditation readiness. The event took place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, featuring Prof. Dr. Dasim Budimansyah, M.Si., a renowned expert in education and quality assurance at UPI, as the keynote speaker.

The workshop was attended by faculty members of the PPKn Study Program, including Dr. Syaifullah, Dr. Asep Mahpudz, Nisrina Nurul Insani, Mursyid Setiawan, Aang Supriatna, Intan Indah Megasari, Ratna Fitria, and Dede Iswandi. In his presentation, Prof. Dasim emphasized that the LED is not merely a formal requirement but a critical reflection and strategic tool for planning the long-term development of the study program based on measurable achievements.

The LED also serves as a collaborative platform among academic staff to strengthen internal quality assurance and as evidence of the program’s readiness to achieve an “Excellent” accreditation status. A key focus of the workshop was ensuring alignment and coherence between the university's vision, faculty mission, and the study program’s strategic goals.

Participants received technical guidance on how to write the LED by clearly articulating key indicators, using accurate terminology, and ensuring the alignment between performance scores and narrative descriptions. The importance of using impactful keywords such as “sustainable,” “collaborative,” and “globally engaged” was also highlighted. One strategic recommendation presented was the development of a Doctoral Program by Research in Pancasila Studies.

Through this initiative, the PPKn Study Program at UPI reinforces its commitment to professional, accountable governance that aligns with the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and supports the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
