Internal Quality Audit Information System: Enhancing Study Program Accreditation through Comprehensive Indicator Management

The Internal Quality Audit Information System (IQAS) is a tool designed to manage and monitor the internal quality audit process within an organization. Its purpose is to ensure that current processes and procedures comply with established standards and enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.

Overall, the audit process for study programs acts as a report and indicator for accreditation purposes. To achieve a high accreditation level, such as an “A,” programs must accumulate a specific number of points. These points are collected from various indicators, including faculty teaching load (semester credit hours), student achievements—both academic and non-academic—research output, publications, community service programs (PKM), and student satisfaction. This year, there are 122 indicators.

The indicators each focus on different aspects and have assigned timelines linked to respective stakeholders. The focus for the internal audit program (AMI) has been divided into several categories: faculty and academic affairs, student and graduate outcomes, and research and community service activities. This classification facilitates a systematic and comprehensive internal audit process that supports program accreditation and continuous quality improvement.
