
Bandung, November 6, 2025 – The Indonesia University of Education (UPI) successfully held a series of intensive academic activities as part of a Summer Program in collaboration with Naresuan University (NU), Thailand. This international exchange program aims to enrich academic knowledge, strengthen cultural ties, and establish strategic partnerships between the two leading educational institutions in Southeast Asia.
The series of activities began with a Welcome Ceremony with the Dean, where participants from Naresuan University were warmly welcomed by the Associate Dean of FPIPS, Dr. Fitri Rahmafitria, M.Si. In her opening remarks, she emphasized the importance of cross-cultural experiences and research collaboration as efforts to increase global competitiveness. This session was a crucial moment to introduce the academic environment of UPI and the program agenda that would be undertaken.
Next, the program entered the Summer Program Reflection Session phase, which was the core of the academic activities. This session was filled with lectures, workshops, and in-depth discussions on current issues in the fields of Education, Culture, and Tourism. NU and UPI students were actively involved in exchanging ideas, giving presentations, and reflecting on the new knowledge and skills they had acquired. This reflection session not only measures learning outcomes but also fosters a richer understanding of educational practices in Indonesia and Thailand.
The highlight of the program is marked by a lively Closing Ceremony. During the closing event, representatives from Naresuan University and UPI expressed their appreciation for the smooth running of the program. Participants then continued their tour around Bandung. The event concluded with the hope that the collaboration between Naresuan University and the Indonesian University of Education will continue, opening up more opportunities for exchange and academic cooperation in the future, while strengthening UPI's role in the global education arena.
