Bandung Barat – June 28–29, 2025. Students from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), through the Civics Hukum Soccer Society (CHSS), successfully organized the 2025 Piala Pancasila, an inter-high school futsal tournament in the Greater Bandung area. This event is an annual program initiated by CHSS, a Special Unit (UUK) under the Student Executive Board of the Civics Hukum Student Association (BEM HMCH).

Unlike previous tournaments that were limited to inter-department matches, this year’s Piala Pancasila expanded its scope to include high school-level participants. The competition was held over the weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, June 28–29, 2025, at Inspire Arena, Cihideung, West Bandung Regency.

The event featured 16 futsal teams from schools across Bandung Raya, including Kota Bandung, Kota Cimahi, Kabupaten Bandung, and Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Participants competed for the prestigious Rotating Trophy from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), along with various other exciting prizes.

The event was officially opened by the Head of the Undergraduate Civic Education Study Program (PPKn) at UPI, Dr. Syaifullah, M.Si., who is also a member of the Executive Committee (Exco) of the West Bandung Regency PSSI. The opening ceremony was marked by a symbolic first kick by Dr. Syaifullah, enthusiastically witnessed by players, organizers, and supporters.

The opening was further highlighted by the reading of the Referee’s Oath and the Athletes’ Oath, emphasizing the commitment to fair play and a smooth tournament process. The 2025 Piala Pancasila was not only a platform for showcasing futsal talent but also a meaningful medium for promoting the values of unity, sportsmanship, and the spirit of Pancasila among Indonesian youth.
